1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Shift Tab Chrome extension or visiting shifttabs.app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Shift Tab is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to save, organize, and toggle between groups of browser tabs using a keyboard shortcut. The Service includes both a free tier and a paid Pro tier with additional features.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

• Free Tier: Includes up to 2 tab groups, keybind toggle, theme switching, tab importing, and Chrome Sync storage at no cost.
• Pro Tier: A one-time purchase of $9 USD that unlocks unlimited tab groups, per-group colors, group pinning, scheduled switching, and all future updates.

4. Payment and License Keys

Pro purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Upon successful payment, you will receive a unique license key. This key is personal and non-transferable. You may use the key across all Chrome browsers signed into your Google account.

Sharing, reselling, or distributing license keys is prohibited and may result in key revocation without refund.

5. Refund Policy

Since Shift Tab Pro is a digital product with a one-time payment, all sales are final. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the Pro features, please contact us at support@shifttabs.app and we will work with you to resolve the issue or issue a refund at our discretion.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension
• Not circumvent or attempt to bypass the license key verification system
• Not use automated tools to abuse the Service

7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and branding associated with Shift Tab are the intellectual property of Shift Tab and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shift Tab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
